Pediatrician-designed
Introducing solids? Our Starting Solids Set is perfect for babies' first foods whether parent-assisted spoon feeding or baby-led feeding. Babies and toddlers love the sensory exploration with bright colors, cool touch and shiny finish - our little ones love to see their reflections.
For ages: 6 months+
Benefits:
A portion of each order is donated to fight childhood food-insecurity.
Children's organs are still developing and particularly vulnerable to chemicals added to their foods from plastic or melamine dishes. Research from the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Endocrine Society and World Health Organization - and reports from The New York Times, NPR and CNN confirm the negative effects of plastic. Today, while there are many BPA replacements, they may be as or more harmful.
Steel is inert. That means no harmful chemicals will be transferred into your child’s food with Ahimsa. Our dishes are non-porous, so bacteria won’t be left behind.
Plus our dishes are intentionally designed by a Pediatrician-mom to encourage healthy variety, portions and habits at any age. They are built to last a lifetime, no peeling or breaking - and dishwasher safe.
I was gifted this set and my youngest is 4, but still use everything. I little bowl is perfect for snacks and dips, the training cup we use as a rinse cup and the little spoon we use for dips and stirring or when we have friends over with babies who need an infant spoon. Really versatile and long lasting -
Love that your family has found so many ways to use their Ahimsa dishes!
Our little one is 6.5 months old and has started some baby food. Right now, we use the bowl to hold the baby food and feed them with the spoon. It fits perfectly into her little mouth! :)
Wonderful to hear this is working so well for you & your little one!
