Our compartment plates are a visual map for parents to plan and for children to learn about the importance of food variety at each meal. Additionally, parents have found by using stainless steel rather than dinnerware that can be microwaved – they are choosing more healthy, fresh foods for their children.

Cups:
Ahimsa cups are not only inert stainless steel and therefore, nontoxic and do not leach chemicals – but they are also the perfect size for small hands. The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry advises that sippy cups should not be used for extended periods of time due to tooth decay. The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association discourages sippy cups because they can interfere with a child’s ability to develop a mature swallowing pattern. We use a method called Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD), which is free of harmful chemicals and safe enough to be used in medical implants. This is non-toxic. The color comes from titanium nitride (NOT titanium dioxide), a metal compound known for its safety. It is biocompatible, chemically inert, and stable under harsh conditions, making it ideal for biomedical devices and food-contact applications. Our process involves no extra chemical coatings, paints, or powder coatings. We care deeply about children’s health and chose this process for its safety!

The PVD process vaporizes titanium and deposits it onto the stainless steel, creating a durable, safe layer. The core remains 100% stainless steel.

Yes! We regularly test for safety and comply with all relevant standards. We go above and beyond FDA standards and have created our own Ahimsa standard based on more stringent standards from Europe. We do everything we can to ensure:

3. If your order has more than one item, then select the items that you want to return.
4. Select a return reason and add a note for the store.
5. Click Request return. If your return request is approved and requires shipping, then you receive an email with shipping instructions and a return shipping label. After the product is returned, you receive a refund.
